Unlocker isn’t compatible with Win 64. You may look at this program: LockHunter. It is virtually the same tool but with support of Windows 64 bit.

The guy who develops unlocker says there is no x64 bit version. OK well I have found another program that does the same thing as unlocker and will work with VISTA & XP x64 bit systems. If you open the program’s main interface, in the bottom left hand corner you will see a checkbox to integrate the program into explorer’s context menu, so you can unlock files & folders simply by right-clicking on them, very nice. The program is EMCO UnLock IT, it’s freeware and you can find it here …

useless with Windows XP x64bit, it crashes if you try unlocking a locked file, it crashes if you try opening any folder, there’s no entry for it in the context menu, so don’t waste your time if your using XP 64bit. I wish “Unlocker” would release a 64bit version of his software which is far superior to this.

Definitely one that’s worth putting in the utilities directory for when it’s needed…which it inevitably will be at some point!
