S1Digital Offers Free Windows 7 Upgrade For Its Media Center And Server
The Home Theater PC Manufacturer, S1Digital has announced to be the first company that offers free upgrade of Windows 7. This offer is covers to all new purchase of S1Digital Media Centers and Server that placed orders between Jan 19 until March 31, even before the Microsoft sponsored Windows 7 Upgrade Program for OEM partners kick start, tentatively scheduled on July 1. However, the Media Center Mini Edition is not eligible.

According to press release, the free upgrade is expected will be available some time after Windows 7 is released. The date of free upgrade is depend on the availability of the drivers and software. For owner who eligible on this offers is required to contact S1Digital once Windows 7 is released and ship back the systems to S1Digital with their own expenses.
Besides paying the new license cost, S1Digital also will pay for the labor cost which incurs during installing Windows 7.
