New Ultra-Thin Archos 10 Mini Laptop With 10.2″ LED Screen
The award winning technology innovator and leader in the portable media player market, ARCHOS has announced the availability of its first mini laptop – ARCHOS 10, the new ultra-thin and ultra-fast netbook which incorporates variety of features that let users stay connected, productive and entertained while on the go.
Highlights of ARCHOS 10 netbook:
- 10.2-inch high-resolution (1024 x 600) bright LED screen
- Intel Atom processor coupled with Microsoft Windows XP OS
- 160GB hard drive storage and 1GB RAM of memory
- 802.11b.g wireless LAN for fast Internet access and a 10/100 Ethernet LAN, plus USB 3G ready
- 1.3 megapixel webcam with Skype software for free voice and video calling
- Free and unlimited Lotus Symphony allows users to create and edit documents, including letters, presentations and spreadsheets
- 6 month free full version of BitDefender Antivirus 2009 lets users keep their ARCHOS 10 safe from viruses, spyware, adware, phishing attacks and identity theft
- 6 month free full version of Parental Filter protects yourself and your family by preventing access to inappropriate sites, monitor computer activities
- Free vTuner player lets users stream thousands of Web TV channels and more than 10,000 radio stations and access 100,000 podcasts directly from the netbook

The new ARCHOS 10 mini laptop that weights less than 2.8 pounds will be available starting February 2009 for $399 (3-cell battery) and $449 (6-cell battery), respectively.
