Wow it would be great if I got that watch. It would be better than the Rs.200 watch that’s over 5 yrs old.
And I could as well show my mom that, how the internet rewards you. HA!

I love to possess Orient Watch Because of its quality and it is having the name ORIENT to show the world it orients towards the best of eherything a watch should have.

I should get the Orient Watch, because I am the most oriented person to my work, as its name reflects. I love this watch to have on my wrist.
Over & above that, I am a civil engineer doing the marine work & fishing is my hobby. So, it is most suitable for me, but I can’t afford it to purchase.
Hence, this watch is definitely coming to my way. I am sure to win this contest. Actually, lord had created this contest to reward me this watch towards my orientation to my work.

this would simply explain why i want to have an Orient Watch –> a simple touch of nostalgia

It is a beautiful and elegant watch. I am sure that luck will favour me and the Orient Watch will be mine.

before 26 years I had an Orient watch being a gift from my elder brother for my high grades in secondary school exams, I wonder if I will be lucky to have it again?

hmm..Why would I need an Orient Watch??
As of right now, I have a old and beatup Casio digital watch that I got about 6 years back. I believe the battery is almost at its end. Although it is old, we had great memories.
I volunteer in a Church and help out with the liturgical services. Usually its weddings and funerals. Usually before the ceremony beings, I would meet with couple or the survivors of the deceased to go over the ritual and what they need to do when.
For a service, it calls for professional attire and a good watch is a must. My current Casio watch often doesn’t cut it. Me being relatively young compared to everyone else that I work with tends to give off a bad initial impression even with professional attire.
I feel the need to upgrade my watch to something a little bit more professional. My Casio is ready for a peaceful retirement on my desk. This Orient watch will be the perfect complement to my work. When those that I work with see it, they will be impressed and take me a little bit more seriously.
If this Orient Watch serves me well, I will certainly pass it on to some deserving person in the near future.

For a Sr. Citizen from the orient, this automatic watch, with a very attractive exterior, with self winding mechanism would be an ideal companion; as it will also do away with the botheration of changing batteries every now and then. Besides, the power reserve indicator is an added bonus. I intend to pass it over to my son, who is a Chief Operating Officer, after some time, to wear it as a proud owner of the world famous watch.
January 10th, 2009 10:25
Why is it called a “Tank” ?.I think you should call it a “Time”
January 10th, 2009 09:26
I’ve never seen a watch more beautiful than this one. To own a masterpiece such as this would be exhilarating, to say the least, and I can’t afford one, even with that nice 15% discount you guys found. This is a very unique contest – I don’t think I’ve ever entered one where the quality of your entry determines who wins. I’ve definitely never won one.
I have to admit, I can’t remember My Digital Life ever having a giveaway, and I’ve been a daily reader for the past 2 years, including that short time when you switched over to TipandTrick (I know what you mean when you say Google AdSense really sucks). Your articles helped me install Vista SP1 after months of failure (error code 0×80070002), install and set up uTorrent and port forward, install those SWEET Vista Ultimate extras (thanks for that!) and, among other things, to find out about a lot of cool technological news, such as the availability of Windows 7 Beta today. I used to be a fan of Lifehacker but now read this everyday instead, and I’ve shown the site to a few of my friends always with positive results. Keep up the great work!
My parents are from Western Asia (India), and they had actually heard of the Orient company. Apparently they are very popular there in India lately also due to the problematic economy here in America right now. My dad said that his brother over there owns one and that it is one of his most prized possessions. I’d love to own this spectacular watch, especially since I don’t have a working one (had a cheap Meeting Street one but the elastic band broke on me a few months ago). So to wrap up, PLEASE pick me, My Digital Life, your biggest fan and most avid reader!

I am a dying orphan and all I want before I die is an Orient watch. Time is very precious to me and I need a good watch to help me cherish every minute I have left.
January 10th, 2009 07:22
I’d love to have one.
January 10th, 2009 07:13
Hope it takes a lickin … and keeps on tickin …
January 10th, 2009 05:28
I am a big fan of wearing different watches in my fast life; however I haven’t tried the Orient yet.
Whenever I think about giving a gift to someone, first I think about giving a watch. Giving a valuable gift watch can leave good impression on the person. So First I’d like to try Orient watch, and then also would like to recommend someone.
January 10th, 2009 05:05
The reason is sooo simple! Cause I don’t have one
January 10th, 2009 04:38
I could philosophize endlessly on the subject of time or… get this Tank!
January 10th, 2009 03:06
I am, and have always been, a certifiable watch “nut”. I just love a cool watch. I presently have several exceptional ones I’ve acquired over the years; a Rolex Daytona, an 18k Gold Juvenia with a pave diamond face, a Callaway Golf Watch and a Nike Sports Watch. One model I don’t have, but one I’ve always coveted, is the Cartier Tank watch. Your Orient Tank watch is a fine example of this style, and would nicely round out my collection of fine watches. I’m asking you to select my entry as the winning entry.

In todays digital world, Orient still comes up with very accurate mechanical time pieces, which is every classic watch lover’s delight. I love classics, and the Orient Tank Watch is a big one. That is why i want this classic.
January 10th, 2009 02:38
In my opinion, time is the most valuable thing in the world. You cannot buy it nor make more of it. I have wasted a lot of my time because I am not aware of time. Therefore, I’d like an Orient Watch, something to put on my wrist to remind me that “Time is the most valuable thing” and that I should stop wasting my time.
January 10th, 2009 02:33
Tick tock please give me one of your clocks.
January 10th, 2009 02:27
I want an Orient watch because it makes me proud wearing one.
January 10th, 2009 02:24
In today’s fast life, my life is disoriented lol. I need to “Orient” it.
January 10th, 2009 02:22
I’d love to wear the Orient Watch since my beloved Citizen ProMaster died two days ago. Since its battery suddenly quit to deliver power due to the extremely low temperatures we have here in Germany at the moment, it didn’t even had the chance to warn me.
It is 07:58:04 for almost two days now which even adds everlasting darkness to the severe cold. Giving the Tank model a warm and protected place on my wrist would be the chance to escape my very own Groundhog Day. I promise to keep an eye on the Power Reserve Indicator at all times…
January 10th, 2009 02:18
I have an 1968 Orient watch wich still works verry well but it’s not “wearable” anymore. I’d like to have a new one so I can put it on the hand…
