I am using inumbr.com regularly. The site was down for maintenance for a week but the phone lines were working fine. They were just not issuing new numbrs.
By the way, the free service is working alright and its at inumbr.com

I just found a great site that gives you a fake 800 number to use on craigslist, dating sites etc. When someone calls the 800 number the call is routed to your phone so you get the call and the caller never knows your real number.The site is http://PhoneGlow.com this ones isn’t free but it is very professional and easy.

This information is bogus. Numbr has discontinued the free temporary inumbr service and does not plan to offer it again. Please get your facts straight before bloughing all over the net.
