Hey, this didn’t work for me
I follwed the steps and disabled it, but the pop=ups stil come up
Do I need to restart my laptop?
If so, please include this for future reference

This is a HORRIBLE solution.
There are a decent amount of programs that need this service to function. Disabling it will drive a user INSANE when they can’t figure out why they can’t access their work computer remotely, or do a myriad of other RAC related tasks.

This is a fix, just like cutting off your nose is a fix for a running nose.

By the way, my System Protection suddenly seems to be disfunctioning. The log says the fault is with ntdll.dll. Can I fix it in any way so that I can create system restore points from it. It used to work OK but suddenly shows error. Thnx.
