Easy Remote Access Important Data via Lacie Internet Space
Flexibility and convenience are the key concerns for regular travelers or businessmen who are always on the move. Instead of bringing a laptop, LaCie’s new LaCie Internet Space offers a new replacement or solution for those who want to share data or send data to others but refuse to carry the big bulky gadget along. Looking similar to its previous “Network Space” product in terms of the square look and general specifications, the new LaCie Internet Space has, however, added a new feature which allows users to access the data stored in it via a portal on LaCie’s website. Users who carry it along can just plug this device into any network available and it will turn into a personal web server where others can access the contents via the Internet.
The drive comes in three sizes: 500GB, 750GB and 1TB. It is compatible with both PCs and Macs. The drive features DesktopMirror software for safe backup and restoration. It has a USB 2.0 expansion port for additional backups to an external hard drive.
