The internal mic connection fails and they have had to replace the headset every time!!I would rather use my AX360 even though they don't reproduce any base and the only way to control the in-game voice is to raise the center channel.I don't know you but I rather have a product that is not so good but reliable than something that breaks in 1 month and sounds good.By the way the first time I sent them in was because they already came with the same problem. The second time it happened I was using them and they just stopped receiving any sound through the mic. I bought various 2.5mm to 2.5mm male extension cables the first time it happened cause I though it was a faulty cable they brought only to find out that the problem was within the actual headset (confirmed by the fact that the company replaced my headset with a new pair).It actually feels like the company rushed into launching them and didn't actually test the product. I've owned one of Tritton's <a href="http://www.usb-computer-speakers.com/" rel="nofollow">SoundBite 1-piece USB portable computer travel speakers</a> for years - and am endlessly impressed by the sound quality coming out of something the size of a hamburger. Proof that Tritton engineers good products and uses quality drivers in their products. I’d bet this headset sounds fantastic. This TRITTON is their newest and I have the one just before this one. I love em. I watch movies and TV shows with em (6 hours a day minimum) and am still amazed at the clearity of sound. With 5.1DD and even some stereo they sound full, powerful and distinctive. I really don't know that much about sound but I swear 5.1DD with a high bit rate gives me goose bumps. Personally, I think the multi-speakers each put out their own sound and are not all overwhelming the single speaker that would normal be pumping. I have no idea if this is true, but I believe it is. I don't do games, but I have played the Xbox with mine and been happy. With games though, your life depends on sound placement, so you need to test em yourself. But with movies, that car crash that just flew past the camera really sounds like it's behind ya now. :) Lastly, I paid less than $150. At $180, I would want to test them first.
