Flip Mino HD
The pioneer in developing simple and affordable imaging products for mass market consumers, Pure Digital Technologies has announced its latest breakthrough digital camcorder, named as Flip Mino HD, which the company claims as the world’s smallest HD camcorder, weighing just 3.3 ounces.

According to the company, “Flip Mino HD comes equipped with FlipShare – Flip Video’s next-generation built-in software application. FlipShare features a simple drag-and-drop interface to make it simple for Flip owners to organize, edit and share their HD videos. FlipShare enables fast and simple video emailing and one-click uploading to YouTube, MySpace, and AOL Video. Users can also create custom movies, complete with music and credits, and capture HD still photos from their videos. FlipShare is fully compatible with Windows software as well as Apple’s Mac video applications including QuickTime, iMovie, and iDVD. FlipShare is also available as an upgrade to anyone who already owns a Flip Video camcorder.”

Good grief. It looks like someone at Creative’s marketing division just Google’d the Flip HD and put a blurb in about the (as yet still vaporware speculation) promised Vado HD.

Vado HD camcorder from Creative seems to be right on its way, too. Knowing Creative products it should be similar only better and probably cheaper compared to that new Flip. The picture quality seems absolutely pristine, compare these short clips taken with, what it seems to be the new Vado HD:
