good tip .. however when i try to start the scan it doesn’t work and comes up with ‘cannot lock the drive, please make sure the seleted drive is available’ how do i get it to work ? please help i accidently deleted my mums pictures am desperate to get them back .

Thank you a million times!!! I had 2 CF cards with corrupted files on them. I formatted one but thought to look for recovery software for the other. Glad I did. I was able to save the photos from my child’s 6th birthday party!!!

More info re my previous response.
2 programs were accesing my XD card, I got a fatal error from Windows and the card was not recognized any longuer….
Advise, Get sure that XD card is accessed only by 1 aopplication at a time
