It meets my basic requirement and been using it since 2006, especially Convocation Photography where I need to choose best shot among 3-4 photos. Every year or so I go back and look at FastStone's competitors. Every year I find Faststone is better for my needs. As a photographer, I'm interested in what it will do, and how well it does it. Speed also counts. FastStone fits my workflow (including links to Photoshop and GIMP) and never crashes. My only criticism is support - I can't find a good forum where the product is discussed and supported by other users. Three years ago, I switched from IrfanView to Faststone. This software should just be called "stone". It has among the ugliest skins I've ever seen, moreover, skins are sooo 90' this thing looks shockingly out of place on Vista and Windows 7. It was a great app perhaps on Windows 95 but now it looks old, it's not that fast and I find it to be completely unremarkable.
