Download Cracked Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Validation Tool v1.8.31.0
Microsoft is rolling out the newest version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool and Notifications (see explanation for WGA Validation Tool and Notifications, but both is hardly differentiate now as both executable is distributed together) version 1.8.31.0 (or version 1.8.0031.0), which generates lots of buzz on news network lately due to new notification methods implemented in WGA v1.8.31.0 for Windows XP.
And, as usual with all previous versions of WGA releases, hackers managed to crack the latest v1.8.0031.0 WGA Validation Tool components, so that Microsoft will validate the Windows XP and Windows Vista system as genuine and pass validation when accessing Windows Update, Microsoft Update and Microsoft Download Center, and hence won’t be forced to use black blank desktop background and slapped with prominent unhideable and unerasable translucent desktop watermark. This time the crack isn’t coming from the Team ETHO, but it’s still based on on base version crack created by Team ETH0.
The crack of WGA Validation and Notifications is claimed to 100% working on Windows Update, Microsoft Update and Microsoft Download Center, several most popular sources that requires online validation of the authenticity of several recent Microsoft operating systems when accessing.
To install the crack for the WGA programs, namely LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe, download and extract the WGA_v18310.rar or Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.8.31.0.CRACKED.rar (link removed due to BSA DMCA warning) into a folder, and then run the following batch command script in command prompt (Cmd):
installer.bat
If there is any problem using the auto-installer to crack the WGA Validation Tool, then manually copy the LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe from the unpacked folder into C:\Windows\System32\DLLCache and C:\Windows\System32 folders.
After cracking, restart the computer.
To uninstall the crack, run the following command in the unpacked folder:
installer.bat /u
To cleanup the older version of backups been done by the Team ETH0 AutoInstaller, just run:
installer.bat /c

I have reinstalled my computer it WGA wouldnt allow me to update.
after I installed the cracked version I went to mirocsoft update and 10 out of 21 updates failed. but the good thing is that the crack allowed me to install Service pack 3, and that kicks ass.
this is worth trying and theres no stinking virus or alike with it.

But i cant put wgalogon.dll into the system 32 folder because it says it is already in use by another program?!?!
Also what is DLLCache there is no such thing in my system 32 folder.

This works well – thank you very much – haven’t tried the Microsoft Download Centre as yet..I’ll let you know. The ‘WGA_v18310.rar’ link doesn’t work but the ‘Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.8.31.0.CRACKED.rar’ works fine.
I found it better to manually insert the files rather than use ‘installer.bat’ (cos I’m pretty useless with command prompts.
The C:\Windows\System32 folder will not allow you to delete the original WgaLogon.dll (states that it is being used by another application) so I saved all the unpacked data to the desktop and copied them in ‘Safe Mode’..no more nag screen – Thanks

oh dear god, thank you!! when i realized i had accidentally ok’d the download and installation of this god awful nagware, i thought i was lost. thank you for this 100% working, trojan free crack for this terrible nagware microsoft is imposing on us.

The reason new WGA cracks keep coming out is because they stop working when Microsoft realizes a working crack is out there. They can then change their websites to reject the cracked file.
A better method is to make your Windows copy look genuine, even to a NON-CRACKED WGA file. You can do that using this torrent: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4140683/Windows_Genuinizer_-_Get_rid_of_WGA_problems_permanently
Just follow the directions at that link. This one works for everyone, and it works permanently. It works even when you install a valid LegitControlCheck.dll from Windows Update.

You need Winzip or Winrar to expand the file and installer.bat is inside it. I found out by going back to the older articles.

You need to use the SP2 Network Installation version from MS. The version you get from WU contains an additional check that causes the problem you have run into.

Installed XP Pro, downloaded 1.8.0031 WGA direct from MS, then ran crack, then downloaded SP2 via windows update – windows indicates product key not valid and quits. Suggestions?

The 1.8.31.0 version of wga introduces the situation where, once installed, it will download and install further wga updates as they arise, without any further permission from the user.
Can anyone confirm if this crack prevents that from happening.
