Olympic Tweets from Beijing
“Tweet. Tweet.” Hear that? No it’s not a bird. It’s actually NBC producer Ryan Osborn “tweeting” Olympic related messages via Twitter for American morning news program the Today Show.
Ryan has temporarily hijacked the Today Show’s Twitter account to connect Twitter users with daily tweets from Beijing. Everyday Ryan Tweets about everything from the weather in Beijing, to behind the scenes tidbits and how NBC’s employees are spending their days in China.
What does Ryan think about his Tweeting experience? “It is has been a lot of fun to connect with viewers and keep them posted on what the Today Show is doing over here in Beijing.”
You can “follow” the Today Show’s Twitter account at twitter.com/todayshow. Twitter is just one of the new ways NBC is covering the Olympic Games this year for the United States. For a complete list of coverage options and schedules go to nbcolympics.com.
