Torch Mobile has developed and released a final preview version of Iris browser v1.0.6 for Windows Mobile device version 5 and 6. This version has gotten some bugs fixed and improvements around rendering quality, memory and network stability.

Iris browser is based on Webkit rendering engine, which has been used in Macintosh web browser Safar as well as iPhone. This open source project has been gaining much popularity especially after the successful launch of 3G iPhone in consumer markets.
