Download Latest Skype Mobile 2.2.0.45 for Windows Mobile 6.1 Devices
Skype is famous VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) application software that enables users to make free voice call from PC and smartphones. In view of more and more latest smartphones moving to Windows Mobile 6.1 that were released by Microsoft back to April, Skype has released a latest version (2.2.0.45) targeted specifically for Windows Mobile 6.1 OS devices such as latest HTC Touch Diamond, Asus P320, Palm Treo 800w and etc.
Basically it doesn’t have much great features as compared to previous version except the compatibility with Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Good news here, the latest version is not only limited to Windows Mobile 6.1 device usage but it is also compatible with all other older versions of Windows mobile devices ranging from Windows Mobile 2003, 05 and 06 versions. If you have any previous version being installed, do remember to uninstall it first before getting this latest copy at Skype now.

Hello,
I install the smartphone (the new release 2.2.0.45) on my Asus P320 and even if the installation was complete, I am unable to launch skype, I get this error message : “could’nt find the necessary files to start Skype”.
THe pocket pc version can be installed but it’s too slow and it use the smartphone speaker instead of the phone.
I think that it is the same problem for HTC diamond phone.
If anyone find a solution …

J’ai un tel mobile NOKIA N95 avec une carte SD4gigas, et j’utilise le serveur Happy Mobil (qui coute 5 a 6 fois moins cher que les operateurs francis).
Mon nnumero espagnol est (0034)693107800.
mon tel mobile recoit la wifi et j’aimerai utiliser SKYPE avec.
Je signale que j’ai un compte SKYPE (voir adresse email), et ma femme a aussi un tel mobile skype.
Y a t il un logiciel a telecharger pour mettre SKYPE sur le N95 avec SD 4 gigaa ?

Bonjour Francis,
Il suffit juste d’installer fring (http://www.fring.com) qui fonctionne avec le N95 et qui offre un accès à skype, msn, gtalk …
et ça fonctionne en wifi.
