Not a perfect solution I would say, it has that known problems with programs with dedicated drivers and programs that run at startup… and these are only some of the documented problems. For the average Joe I would say that Sandboxie is a better, more secure and user friendly virtualization solution.

If you are running Windows just download a free copy of Microsoft Virtual PC. I test out most apps on the virtualized OS first before committing it to my main system. I use Revo Uninstaller to make sure when I install an application most of the tidbits get removed also.
