Partition Magic as been reported as problematic on NTFS and specially on Vista, it's not updated since 2005, and it seems that Symantec has no plans to do so. I just tried Easeus on my Vista 32-bit for 'simple' move-n-resize and I must say it works OK. No issues. Better than GParted, you can do everything online and you don’t have to burn a CD (or create a partition, make it bootable, etc, etc.).
