GoLive2 Announces New Stix Motion-Sensing Controllers Redefining PC Gaming
The independent division of Playhut, GoLive2 has announced a new wireless and motion-sensing gaming controllers for PC and Internet – Stix, which allows users to play thousands of free online games as well as Games For Windows titles with an active, motion-sensing play pattern, aiming to redefine the PC and online gaming experience.
“Stix will completely change the way people experience online and PC gaming,” said Brian Zheng, President of Playhut. “At purchase, Stix will be compatible with thousands of free online and retail games, and we’re adding more games to that list daily. The fun is endless with Stix, and the wide-range of free, supported games makes this product perfect for every member of the family.”
Two versions of Stix gaming controllers will available at launch – Stix 200 and Stix 400. The Stix 200 adds active gameplay to 2D online gaming, while Stix 400 supports both 2D and 3D environments for the ultimate online and Games for Windows gaming experience.
According to the company, “As a compliment to the Stix product line, GoLive2 has also launched a free, online game portal called Sphere (http://Sphere.GoLive2.com) that provides hundreds of free games to play with Stix controllers. Sphere consists of both internally-developed games designed exclusively for the Stix as well as hosted games from online game developers that support Stix. Sphere also features a search engine that connects users to thousands of compatible, third-party free online games. In addition, users can configure their favorite PC games to preferred Stix settings. Finally, developers of all skill levels have the ability to create new games that harness the unique Stix gameplay pattern.”
The new GoLive2 Stix motion-sensing gaming controllers with touch screen capability will be available nationwide in coming August 2008, but pricing has yet to be announced.

I am really impressed with the evolution of home gaming systems, mainly the PC. Arcades from the 80s as we use to know for those growing up in those days, are long gone. I use to believe there would never be any home gaming system that would rival the arcades back then. May we all treasure the experience. Long live PC gaming and all other gaming systems for in home entertainment.

These are not bad but they lie through there teeth they say it is free when if you want to play the really good games it cost’s you 39.99 a month what a rip off.
