I’m having the same issue with IE7. It automatically zooms to 10% on all sites I visit. Anyway to set this back to normal?

This fixed countless problems for me. I was using phplot to generate graphs and charts for some inhouse solutions, and they constantly appeared to be rendering incorrectly. I spent hours up hours reading through the documentation, checking the web server etc. Thanks for the article!

I wish the zoom actually worked as advertised on one site I use a lot, it constantly resets itself when I go page to page.

I zoom the page accidentally mostly by pressing ctrl key and mouse scroll, so on configuration page (about:config) change action of middle mouse button with ctrl key:
mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action set to 0 (nothing)

What I don’t like about changing this preference is that when I zoom on a page and then hit the back button, my previous page is zoomed also. I find that annoying, I prefer to leave this preference as it is.

Thank goodness you posted this information. I noticed this morning that despite a window wash that Firefox remembered something about sites I had visited. I searched an hour trying find out how to turn off site specific zoom. It is a privacy concern and any site specific information should be able to be cleared by the clear private data function. I wonder what other sticky information is in Firefox. But thanks again for your timely information
