Microdia Launches New 64GB XTRA Elite CF Cards
The leading manufacturer of flash memory solutions, portable multimedia players and Bluetooth wireless devices, Microdia has announced the launch of its new 64GB XTRA ELITE CF (Compact Flash) memory card, which includes a sustained read/write speed and data transfer rate of 300X or 45MB/s, aiming to provide the world’s best solution for professional photographers and photo enthusiasts.
“We have only been in Australia for a matter of weeks, and decided the best way to demonstrate our capabilities and intent to offer the world’s best flash memory products here was to launch this product at Australia’s leading professional photography trade show, PMA,” said Louis Leung, Microdia founder and CEO. “As a new brand to Australia, but as the world’s second largest flash memory company — in terms of production capacity — with a 17 year history, globally launching the 64GB CF card in Australia at PMA will give us tremendous early momentum in this market.”
The new and massive 64GB MICRODIA XTRA ELITE CF card that able to store over 19,000 high resolution images from a 20 megapixel camera is expected to be available by the end of June, but no words on its price yet.
