New Sanyo Xacti HD1010 Digital Movie Camera With Face Chaser Technology
The world leading digital camera manufacturer, Sanyo has announced the launch of its new, compact and light-weight Full HD (1920 x 1080 recording) Xacti digital movie camera, named as Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1010, which features “Face Chaser” face detection technology that able to monitor the subject’s face and adjust brightness and focus to incredibly clear photos, recognizing up to 12 faces at a time in both video and still photos.

“With the HD1010, SANYO has brushed up many of the features from the previous model, making it easier to use while advancing the image quality,” said Hideki Toyoda, General Manager of the SANYO’s DI Company Products Planning Department. “With a SANYO Xacti, you have instant access to both high quality photos and high definition movies with one simple, stylish unit.”

The new and stylish-designed SANYO Xacti HD1010 ultra-compact camcorder will be available in coming July 2008 for about $800.
