Improve Audio Compatibility in Windows Vista with Conexant High Definition Audio Driver Version 4.33.1.60 A

Hewlett-Packard and Compaq laptops users can now download the latest Conexant High Definition Audio Driver Version 4.33.1.60 A from HP website. This particular release will resolve the problem such as system halt particularly for users who are using Windows Vista and upgraded their OS with Windows Vista Service Pack (SP1).

Conexant is HP’s main supplier of High Definition audio chipsets. However, Conexant seems to have compatibility problems with the latest Windows system especially Windows Vista such as inability to switch between optical and analog output on a dual interface jack on many models incorporated to Laptop models. Since these technical problems frequently arise and they seriously affect HP’s creditability, HP has started looking for alternative solution such as using Realtek as replacement.
