I ran this on a totally fresh install of Vista SP1 - it seems to work, I restart and then I just get a flashing white underscore on a black screen. The only way to fix it is to do a system restore or wipe the drive and start again. What am I doing wrong?

the reason that you are getting that white underscore is because the grubloader has encountered an error. This most probably doesn’t affect anything, but takes a minute or two. Are you running on a Mac? that could be why. If so, just let it flash for a while then windows should boot up fine. It’s usually just a problem with grub not recognizing HFS or other filesystems. I am working with other people from here and keznews to develop a new one that will work a lot better.
long story short, have patience! let the white underscore go, don’t just restart your computer and wipe! chances are windows will boot if you just waaaaaaaaaaiiiiiittt

do I have to install a original and untouched Windows Vista or can I also use those Windows Vista SP1 “Integrated” versions? And in which order should I install all this? First Vista Ultimate, then SP1 and after that the Vista Loader?
