Samsung WriteMaster SH-S223 – The Industry’s Fastest DVD Burner
The global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and digital convergence technologies, Samsung has announced its new Super-WriteMaster SH-S223, which the company claims as the industry’s fastest DVD burner, offering a powerful over-speed performance feature enabling users to burn data at high speeds even on low-speed media (22X speeds on 16X media and 12X speeds on 8X media).
In addition, the WriteMaster SH-S223 is able to burn at 22x speed to DVD±R media, 12x to DVD-RAM, 16x to DVD+R dual layer, 12x DVD-R dual layer, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW. At those speed, a full 4.7GB DVD±R disc can be burned in approximately 4 minutes and 26 seconds, and takes less than 12 minutes to burn 4.7GB in DVD-RAM format.

this drive is horreble, after two weeks mine would not read any of my disks, got a replacment, now few months later same problem.

My pc also gives up the ghost (dreaded blue screen) when I try to play anything with the Samsung SH-S223 DvD writer. I can only find drivers SH-S223F of SH-S223Q

Well….I got problem with this drive..-.-’..I just purchase thisdrive recently. but I cannot use it at all on my computer. Everytime I insert a disc, it hangs my pc and make my pc not responding until I restart it. Is this consider as faulty or I need some tweaking? Still can’t burn and read any disc right now….I’m so dissapoint with samsung

i have recently bought super write master but after a week i cannot open/close button is not working we already return it to the manufacturer but still it is not working… what should i do..???

i have recently purchased samsung dvd writer SH-S223 and attached with my system having intel pentium IV and D865GBF with SATA 150 (1.5Gb/s) support
my DVD writer can only read CDs but can not read DVD
please tell me what to do ???????
