Don’t Get Infected by Trojan.Zlob When Browsing Edison Chen Sex Scandal Photo

We have reported that some websites which published the recent Hong Kong hot sex scandal photo involving numerous famous artistes such as Edison Chen, Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, etc. have a hidden virus, Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.gx, that can easily spread and infect the user’s computer. Besides, Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.gx, there is another virus, Trojan.Zlob, which is actually variant of each other (see Trojan.Zlobremoval and Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.gx instructions), widely spread over some websites that published these hot pornographic photos. Trojan.Zlob is a back door Trojan that allows the remote attackers or hackers to perform various malicious actions on the compromised computer.

Computers hackers bank on others’ curiosity on the artistes’ nude photos to attract net users to get infected. Normally net users get infected when they click on some links which appear on some forums inviting them to see the scandalous photos. Hackers also compress the virus file and name it as Edison Chen scandal photo download. They take advantage of users’ curiosity about sexual or pornographic photos of celebrities to download this file. Once users download and execute the file, their computer will be infected by Trojan.Zlob.
