I booted the computer off of a Ubuntu Live CD, opened program files, deleted Windows Defender. I štarte počítača s Ubuntu z Live CD, otvorené programové súbory, vypúšťa Windows Defender. No more errors, no more permission problems. Už žiadne chyby, žiadne ďalšie povolenia problémy. Problem solved. Problém vyriešený.

I am having problems with Windows Defender on a brand new laptop. Mám problémy s programom Windows Defender na zbrusu nový notebook. When the machine starts up I receive a message telling me that there is an error. Keď sa stroj začne až dostanem správu povedať, že tam je chyba. I followed MS advice to uninstall and reinstall BUT its not listed for me to uninstall. Sledoval som MS poradenstvo odinštalovať a znovu nainštalovať, ale jeho, ktoré nie sú uvedené pre mňa odinštalovať. As a temp measure I have disabelled it in MSConfig but Id rather have it working. Ako dočasné opatrenie, mám to v disabelled MSConfig Id, ale skôr mať prácu.
If I try to install it without uninstalling, the setup tells me it already is included in Vista, and terminates. Ak sa snažím nainštalovať bez odinštalovania, inštalácie mi hovorí, to už je zahrnutý do Vista, a končí.
How else can I uninstall/reinstall it? Ako inak môžem odinštalovať / preinštalovať?
