Advantech Unveiled TPC-30T and TPC-32T Panel PC for Commercial Use
Advantech, a famous embedded computing manufacturer has just unveiled two models of flat panel computer for commercial market. Known as TPC-30T and TPC32T, the devices are fanless with low power consumption that makes them suitable to be used for Interactive client application.
The panel PC is powered by Marvell PXA270 processor running at 312MHz. Not quite high in specification but it is more than sufficient to run some simple task processing with graphical display capability. On top of 3.5-inch display function, it is equipped with touch panel so that user can interact and control by looking at the menu at once. Some of the peripheral interfaces include USB 2.0 host, SD card expansion slot, RS232 and more. Besides, the device is designed not to be standalone and it has Ethernet 10/100 Mbps port as well as CAN-BUS interfaces for data communications. With both of these features in place, the usage models can be extended for digital signage and in vehicle infotainment aplication.
The products are tagged along with Windows CE Operating System. No pricing information being released yet, but we should expect them to be released to commercial market soon.
