TCPIP.SYS Driver Patcher CrackTcpip.sys for Vista SP1 v.744 and 6001.18000 (RTM)
CrackTcpip.sys is a driver based patcher for Windows Vista tcpip.sys to increase the limit the concurrent half-open TCP/IP connection attempt the operating system can make. CrackTcpip.sys does not modify original tcpip.sys in any way. It’s a memory-resident driver program that constantly monitor a memory location that stores the value of the limit, and change the default value to a higher number (255) on the fly.
Download CrackTcpipv744.zip.
This version of CrackTcpip.sys works and supports Windows Vista SP1 RC Refresh v.744 (build version 6001.17128) and Refresh 2 (build version 6001.18000). SP1 version 6001.18000 is also widely believed to be the final version build number for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RTM release too, thus if there is no change to tcpip.sys on SP1 RTM when it’s officially released, the CrackTcpip.sys will be able to work on Vista SP1 RTM too.

Marc, it worked to me. i check the Event Viewer in control panel and no more 4226 Events!! and i run emule, utorrent and i surf the web the same time
May 18th, 2008 18:53
This stopped Event ID 4226 but it didn’t stop my speed problems every time I start Utorrent. Network speed drops dramaticaly, this can only be solved bij shutting down utorrent and dis- and reconnecting my wireless dongle.

RE ASE/Kallak,
I use Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 RTM.
Even though 4226 found every 2-3 hours during bt. I am still able to surf the web.
I got lots of difficulties when using Bitcomet after upgrade to SP1. Now I am using utorrent instead with acceptable download rate without patching.

RE ASE
I noticed the same problem- and i’m fed up with it! It’s totally annoying when after closing p2p application I got to restart Vista to browse internet (even my internet communicator is not working after that). And no matter how long I wait or how many times restart router, I gotta to reboot computer because none application get connection:(

Hi Guys,
I need some help, My setup is Vista x64 SP1.
If I start a P2P application I cannot browse with explorer anymore, EventID 4226. I stop the P2P application but I always need to restart the computer. Is there a service or something I can restart without rebooting my computer everytime?

How about the tcpip.sys file from Windows Server 2008?
Windows Server 2003 did not have the limitation i think.
Any info?

Considering anyone who uses vista 64 and knows what the hell they are doing runs it with driver signature enforcement disabled it’s pretty retarded to not release a 64 bit version of this crack…

No 64bit patch available yet… sorry

Does it work on x64 sp1 (18000)?
February 10th, 2008 21:54
Hi Yaron,
Unfortunately I run Vista x64 with SP1…
Are you working on a fix for that aswell?
I have read a lot on the problem with driver signing in x64 and it seems to be hard to overcome.
If some of you already have solved this or have some info, please help.
I have other software that already make me press F8 and choose “Disable Driver Signature Inforcement” everytime so that is not my issue.
Thanks,
Ase
