Norton Internet Security 2009 wont allow CrackTcpip.sys to be written to disk. Flagged as Hacktool.Rootkit and then removes it with no option to ignore or restore. I turn off protection then test and install but when protection is turned back on NIS removes it. Any idea how to get around this.

Be careful of files like this, you have no idea what they are modifying in your computer. For all we know, the creator of this could be creating a botnet.

Well it has taken me 3days of reading and working up the courage to try this out. Like alot of ppl here i upgraded from xp to vista and was seriously sadened when i tried to use utorrent with vishita excuse me vista. I searched about 6-7 other sites like this and finally tried this solution out and I am literally bout to ejaculate on my girl right now b/c everything went smoothly i had no errors anywhere and i’m simultaneously downloading 5torrents at 200-400kb/s a piece and browsing youtube and other sites flawlessly! I am so grateful to everyone’s help and input b/c w/o my torrents I was about to go and hurt someone!

This “patch” will have no immediate effects in terms of downloading/uploading torrent data. You are changing the number of connections per second, not the number of connections allowed. The only reason you would want to modify this is if you wanted to send out massive amounts of packets in a short period of time, such as a trojan or worm might do upon infecting a system. So, in essence, you’re only making your PC more insecure.

Could the CrackTcpipv744.zip for Windows Vista SP1 Refresh (v.744 or 6001.17128) and Refresh 2 (6001.18000 or RTM)be used with tcpip version number 6.0.6001.18063?
I’ve got Windows vista home premium 32bits version.

Here is one that works in 32 & 64 bit versions of vista use readydriverplus .I use it and works great .Just a driver signing error in vista because it is not a signed driver .There has to be a way to fix that .
