NewerTech Universal Drive Adapter for External PATA and SATA Hard Disk Drive

Previously we mentioned about SATA (Serial ATA) hard disk drive Docking Station for easy plug and play that is compatible to 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard disk, now there is a new product that able to do more by having both SATA and PATA (or better known as IDE) interfaces. Download Garmin MapSource for Free and Install Without Media

Garmin GPS receivers come packaged with free MapSource application. MapSource is required for Garmin users to upload and download maps data, POI (Points of Interest), waypoints, tracks, and routes to and from GPS unit. In other words, those without GPS unit or map product such as Topo, City Navigator and MetroGuide will not have MapSource CD or DVD installer. If you for some reason need to install MapSource on your computer, there is a workaround trick to get MapSource for free.

Change User Name on Linux

User name is utmost important in Linux operating system. Unlike Windows XP and Vista series of consumer oriented OS which sometimes allows single user to automatically log on to desktop without prompting for user name and password, Linux doesn’t come with this convenient (KDE apparently can). Each user must type his or her own user name and password before able to login into shell or desktop.
