Hack to Add Forum Sponsors to vBulletin Categories and Forums
For webmasters running vBulletin community board or forum, it’s possible to further monetize the forum by receiving sponsorships or simply display banner ads associated to a category or forum in the forum homepage. The category or forum sponsors can be a text link or a image ads, or even a simple “Donate” button, and the sponsors’ ads will appear right next after the description for the category or the forum.
For example, looks at this screenshot.
It’s easy to add such sponsorship to vBulletin forums, by using a vBulletin hack – vB.Sponsors plugin. If you have active forums, probably there are lots of advertisers willing to sponsor a forum or category on the community board to increase the awareness of the brand name or products.
Features of vB.Sponsors include:
- Enable sponsorship on forums and categories.
- Ability to use Google AdSense code.
- Use a banner or a text link.
- Supports large banners for the top of the sponsored forum and small banners for the forum listing.
- Tracks hits for each sponsor.
- Statistics viewable inside Admin CP.
- Ability to alter the “Forum sponsored by:” text.
- Easy to use and install.
Download vB.Sponsors for vBulletin 3.6.x from here, or for vBulletin 3.5.x from here.

Hi everybody
Just trapped on a little tool to slice website images.
Quick in preparing ready html from simple single-image site design.
Program is rather crappy and cheap (especially comparing to similar function in PhotoShop).
But there is a trick! Just look what books come as a bonus:
Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day
Web Design in a Nutshell, 3rd Edition
Webmaster in a Nutshell, 3rd Edition
etc…
I wonder how $270 priced books can be sold for just 20 dollars…
Anyway here’s link: http://www.sliceimage.com/
Hope these books will help you as well.
Regards,
Mark

Sure, we’ll look at the screenshot once it’s visible; a force-resized JPEG doesn’t really work FYI
