Nokia Cellphones To Feature Magnetized Ports

nokia_magnet-port.gifAs Nokia users know, the mobile phones from Nokia typically have two ports for headset and charger, which are quite close to one another. As a solution to avoid any confusion as to which jack port would go where, Nokia is considering to make its cellphones more intuitive by magnetizing these ports, just like Apple’s MagSafe ports on Macbook.

According to the company, the magnetic port will make sure that the jack is inserted correctly every single time thanks to the opposite magnets for the “charger and headset”. In addition, these magnetized ports will also prevent dust from settling into the ports.
