Windows Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1 Released

Microsoft has released its Windows Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1 for Pocket PC and mobile devices users who are using Windows Microsoft Office Mobile 5.0 to upgrade. Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1 is available for free to download and it allows users to open and edit Office 2007 file format documents from Word (.doc) and Excel (.xls). It also allows users to view Powerpoint 2007 (ppt) documents.

For new users who don’t have older version of Windows Microsoft Office Mobile application, they can purchase the full version of Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1. Some significant improvements from Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1 include:

• Enhanced viewing experience for charts in Excel Mobile.
• Ability to view SmartArt in PowerPoint Mobile.
• Ability to view and extract files from compressed (.zip) folders.
