Toshiba Announces Vardia RD-A301 HD DVD Recorder
The well-known Japanese manufacturer of electronic devices, Toshiba has recently announced its latest HD DVD Recorder product, named as Vardia RD-A301. It’s a HD DVD recorder which includes a built-in large-capacity 300 GB hard disk drive and an ablility to record high-definition videos to standard/regular DVDs as well as ability to transcode high definition MPEG2 broadcasts on the fly to more efficient MPEG4 format.

In addition, this HD device also features dual TV tuner analog/digital, allowing users to record two programs simultaneously on HD-DVD / DVD and hard drive.
The new Toshiba Vardia RD-A301 HD DVD Recorder will hit Japanese market in coming December for about 100,000 yen ($875) but no words on its availability on other areas yet. Besides, the company also starts receiving advance orders of cool Vardia RD-A301 HD DVD recorder from this November.
