I’ve followed the instructions and I still get an “X” when it gets to the “Log on to the server” part. I’ve checked typing, spelling caps, everything. I don’t know what’s going on. Anyone got any ideas?

It would work if the server did not come back as of recent and say forbidden when you put all the information in correctly.

I was set up manually my microsoft outlook 2007 like this, but it always call me to rewrite the user name & password.
I think i was right to write the user name & password.
Why ?

Thanks so much, this worked perfectly for me! I do have a paid subscription for hotmail which I have had for several years, so I didn’t have to subscribe. I don’t know if that made the difference or not
