This software backs up your whole device plus your external memory card, if you use one. You can backup to your PC or your external memory card. If your backup was done on the external memory card, you can do a very nice and easy restore. When you are done with your firmware upgrade, buying a new Windows Smartphone, even buying a new Windows Smartphone OS version, etc., you click on the backup exe that was stored on the external memory card and boom Sprite restores all your content, programs, etc. to both your Main Memory and your external memory card. Very nice feature. If your backup is stored on your PC, then you have a few more steps for the restore, it is still painless. I really like this software and have not run into any issues.
