New Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 With Huge 4GB Internal Memory

The Japan-based consumer eletronics giant, Sony has announced an new addition to its Cyber-shot T-series family. Is it named as DSC-T80? No, this latest point-and-shoot digital camera is named as DSC-T2, sound like the refresh model to the first version of Cybershot T-series - Cybershot DSC-T1. An interesting selling point of this latest slim camera is an 4GB internal memory that can store up to 1,250 top-quality images or 40,000 VGA-quality photos. For sure, if you think that 4GB is not enough to save your valuable memories, you’re allowed to expand the memory sizes with an optional Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo cards.

As same as most new Cybershot digital cameras, the new 8.1 megapixel T2 also features high-speed BIONZ image processor engine, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar branded 3x optical zoom lens, Super Steady Shot/Optical Image Stabilization, face detection technology and even Sony’s “Smile Shutter” technology which able to detect the smiles and then captures the photo automatically without a press of the shutter button.

The company also includes a new scrapbooking feature onto new Cybershot T2, allowing the users to choose up to 16 colorful designs to view photos on the camera’s 2.7 inch anti-reflective touchscreen display. Furthermore, this compact digital camera also incorporates a new Sharemark technology which can tag stored images and automatically resize them for eventual upload to the sharing Websites such as Flickr and YouTube via the pre-installed Sony’s Picture Motion Browser Portable software.

The slim and stylish Sony Cybershot T2 that available in black, blue, green, pink and white colours is expected to be available in coming November for about $350.
