Downloaded the floppy file and I see a file called CD-ROM Drive (A: cdrom.inf).

When I select it and click Next I get this error message:
"No new devices could be found. Make sure the driver files are correct and located on the driver installation media."

I had a similar problem loading my VISTA as discribed above:-
A required CD/DVD device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
To no avail, even with the CD ROM drivers-no go.

I discovered the problem.
I changed the DVD ROM drive from IDE to a SATA one, and the Vista loaded up OK.

Hope its of help to Vista users
