How to Copy Encrypted or Copy-Protected DVD

Digital Versatile Disc or Digital Video Disc (DVD) is quite commonly used nowadays due to its huge storage advantage. However, most commercially produced DVDs are always protected with the Content Scramble System (CSS), a digital rights management scheme that is widely used. Manufacturers or producers use CSS keys set which is a collective term for authentication key, player key, title key, disc key, second disk key set, and/or encrypted key to protect the disc’s content from being duplicated by unauthorized parties. What can you do if you want to copy or make duplications of a protected DVD? Technically, you can seek help from some freeware and shareware available that can help to solve your problem to copy a protected DVD.

DVD43
You can try out DVD43. DVD43 is a free decrypter or CSS encryption breaking program that can help you to duplicate copy-protected DVDs. We have used it to copy DVD movies and it works extremely well. DVD43 Version 3.9.0 is absolutely free and you can download it via the link here. The installation program is pretty simple: just run the setup file and leave the shortcut icon on your task bar. This program will run in the background and decrypt movies on the fly. When you want to use it, you just insert the DVD which you want to copy and wait for DVD43 to detect it. After that you can start duplicating the DVD with your DVD copy software.

DVD Shrink
DVD Shrink is a useful program to back up DVD discs. This freeware can also be used in conjunction with a DVD burning software such as Nero to make copies of the DVD video disc. The latest version of DVD Shrink is version 3.2.0.15. You can get the free software via the link here. This software supports Windows 9x/2000/XP. DVD Shrink operates in quite a similar way to DVD43 and other decrypter programs.

DVD Decrypter
This is another software that can be used to decrypt copy-protected DVD. Besides, DVD Decrypter can also record images to disc. The software is free and the new release DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0 is free for downloading.

    ok i have used dvddecrypter that i got off another website. the dvddecrypter site seems to be being managed by some other jerks now.
    OK heres my question. i have decrypted boogeyman into a file i named my dvd rips. now i have a dvd burner but im out of dvd-r’s but i got a stack of cd-r’s collecting dust is there any way i can cheap out and use those?
    also it seems my nero version 6 needs an update to work and i refuse to pay 15 bucks to get it since i paid out the ass to get this version when i bought it. any ideals? Thanks guys.
