Exit and Quit from Frozen or Hanged iPhone Application Program
iPhone works in much the same way with a computer, where users can install and run additional software programs on it to extend its capabilities and functions. To terminate a frozen and unresponsive iPhone program, hold down the Home button when in the application for 6 seconds to kill the slow running program.
