I'm on WinXP SP2 but having the same issues with this and two other files. I'm on WinXP SP2 tetapi memiliki masalah yang sama dengan ini dan dua file lainnya.

Mungkin masuk melalui salah satu pembaruan. I had Task Manager (Processes) opened during uninstall. Aku telah Task Manager (Proses) dibuka selama uninstall. After it finished, the 3 files were gone. Setelah selesai, 3 file itu pergi. I haven't seen it pop up in Processes so far and it's been several days now. Aku tidak melihatnya dalam bentuk pop up Proses sejauh ini dan itu sudah beberapa hari sekarang. Hopefully that's the last that I see of this issue. Mudah-mudahan itu yang terakhir yang saya lihat dari masalah ini.

Hey there Urby well i did what you said and i think the constant ticking is gone. Hey ada juga Urby i melakukan apa yang Anda katakan dan i think berdetik konstan hilang. I think it only makes noise if im using the computer constantly. Saya pikir hanya membuat suara jika im menggunakan komputer terus-menerus.

the reason its still ticking in there is because u need to disable superfetch in services and DEP/NoExecute in the command prompt… both of these little bits suck tons of memory (superfetch especially: consider all except 32 MB of system memory for 4GB of physical memory in the computer)and it keeps the drive spinning even when idle… all these in combination slow the computer system and suck vital system resources. alasan yang masih berdetak di sana adalah karena u perlu menonaktifkan superfetch di bidang jasa dan DEP / NoExecute pada command prompt ... kedua dari potongan-potongan kecil ini menyedot ton memori (superfetch khususnya: mempertimbangkan semua kecuali 32 MB memori sistem untuk 4GB fisik memori di komputer) dan hal itu terus berputar drive bahkan ketika siaga ... semua ini dalam kombinasi memperlambat sistem komputer dan mengisap sumber daya sistem yang vital.

So I tried this and it doesnt work as the hard drive still is seeking. Jadi aku mencoba ini dan it doesnt work sebagai hard drive masih mencari. I let others try it and it still is seeking. Aku membiarkan orang lain mencobanya dan masih mencari.
I guess only way to get rid of the search index is basically doing a clean install really. Saya kira satu-satunya cara untuk menyingkirkan indeks pencarian pada dasarnya melakukan instalasi benar-benar bersih.
