Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) Edition for Vista Free Download

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema edition (or MPC-HC) is a Media Player Classic original version mod design for homecinema usage, and has Vista ready implementation. The MPC-HC mod is maintained by Casimir666, and fixes several bugs and problems in original MPC and improves certain enhancements to make MPC-HC a perfect lightweight free software media player for home theater or home cinema movie viewing and enjoyment.

Media Player Classic Home Cinema edition has the following features:

• Anti-tearing option in Direct3D fullscreen mode where screen drawing is synchronized to the LCD refresh rate. Tearing is one of the big problems that frequently happened on home theater computer, especially more frequently with nVidia graphic card with Windows XP. MPC-HC have an option that use the same graphic mode used by video games to solve the tearing problem, wit output set to “VMR9 Renderless” or “EVR Custom Pres.”
• Jitter curve tests can be displayed in “VMR9 Renderless” and “EVR Custom Pres.” mode, where the curve show difference between the moment one frame was expected to be displayed, and the moment it was really displayed.
• SRT subtitles synchronization with support from remote control Shuttle PN31.
• Shuttle PN31 remote control support with integrated driver installable via Option menu.
• OSD (On Screen Display) support when video output is VMR9 or EVR to display some informations on screen such as remaining time, volume, audio track, subtitle, and etc.
• Compliant with Vista with Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) selected in Output option. For nVidia graphic card, at least forceware v158.24 should be installed to have correct video playback.
