And also, when he is setting up the tables, he slides one over to the other, during this you can see the direction of the shadows.

Items behind the table (eg the people walking behind it) can be seen cast under the table.

You can also see the shadows of the table legs doing the same thing. Yet when he stands on the table to do the stunt the shadow of the table legs under the table are gone instead their is the shaded rectangular shadow ofthe tabke reflected under the table, preventing the sun from casting the shadow on the table legs.

You can tell that the sun hasn't changed position because the angle of the shadow on the chair at the front right is still the same.

The only thing that could have changed is the mirror being inserted while the camera was panned away.

Haha, its so clear when you watch it a few times. It sticks out like dogs whatsits!.

Yes,

Without watching your videos of explanation, I agree, I can see it when he first gets on the table and flaps the towel in front of him. The shadow under the table at the back shows the towel flicker (indicating a reflection).

If that wasn't enough when the towel drops as he "vanishes" the towel flops momentarily over the front of the table, you will notice if you watch the shadow of the towel as it drapes over the front of the table, the shadow appears both at the front of the table shadow and at the back of the table shadow (at the same time, with the same shape just in reversse).

Heheh, everybody in the background would be wondering why some guy is crouched under a table (unless they are all "dial a crowd" actors on the set.
