I am studying abroad in England and Skype is my only form of communication with my home in the states. I talked last night and it worked great. This morning I woke up and it could not connect to make calls (I bought the unlimited calling package) so I logged off and tried to log back on. It said it could not connect to the server. Everyone else on my server has Skype and its working. Everything else on my computer can connect. I have followed all the steps in the Skype customer service thing to no avail. It is not my server my internet or my firewall. I have rebooted, reconnected, and removed and downloaded. I have no way to contact my family and friends and am out some money.

I don’t know whne this article was published, but it is june 26, 2009 and I just bought $10 work of time on Skype and now I cannot sign on and they have my money and do not have a tech to help solve the issue…this is like theft!!! I am one angry customer having spent hours trying to resolve the problem myself which should be solved by Skype or they should just pull the service from the internet
