    nothing is changed with the application of the two “important ” updates. Vista remains a shit.

    I am copying some huge files across my network. We will see how many days it takes, now. Stupid Microsnot. They knew people would need to move large files around. I think they want to push people to Linux to give some relief to their phone support personnel.

    Applying these updates, at least KB938979 , will make TimerStop useless: 43199 - 43198 … and now 43194 minutes remaining in “slmgr.vbs -dlv”
    Fortunately I created a restore point prior to apply this patch. I had the same result applying yesterday the new bunch of updates through windows update. My recommendation if you are using TimerStop: stop using Windows Updates until it’s fixed.
