Download KB938194 and KB938979 Vista Updates with No WGA Validation
Microsoft rolls out two important updates that trying to make Windows Vista looks more like high quality consumer product instead of half-finished testing codes rushed to production to beat deadline. Applying these updates, at least KB938979 , will make TimerStop useless: 43199 – 43198 … and now 43194 minutes remaining in “slmgr.vbs -dlv”
Fortunately I created a restore point prior to apply this patch. I had the same result applying yesterday the new bunch of updates through windows update. My recommendation if you are using TimerStop: stop using Windows Updates until it’s fixed.

I am copying some huge files across my network. We will see how many days it takes, now. Stupid Microsnot. They knew people would need to move large files around. I think they want to push people to Linux to give some relief to their phone support personnel.
