MySpaceIM Launched Officially
After nearly a year of beta version, News Corp’s Internet social network MySpace officially launched its instant messaging service MySpaceIM. Like Microsoft’s MSN/Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo’s Yahoo Messenger, AOL’s AIM and Google’s Google Talk, MySpaceIM is also one of the popular online communication tools available free.
MySpaceIM can be downloaded free from MySpace website. It requires Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista and Internet Explorer 5.0 or a higher version. Like other Instant Messengers, MySpaceIM allows you to IM your friends, provide instant alerts for all requests, messages & comments and locate your friends’ profiles. The latest version MySpaceIM also integrates a few useful features to attract its users: –
• Integrated music player, which plays other friends’ profile songs.
• Switchable conversation views, such as: traditional IM, with pictures, or with cartoon-like balloons.
• Skinnable interface.
• Shareable custom backgrounds in message windows and
• Built-in avatar picture cropping.
