Free ISO Burner BurnCDCC (Burning Software for Vista/XP/2003/2000/NT)

Windows Vista has built-in CD and DVD burning/writing capability. However, it only allows users to burn files to disc or burn an audio CD when inserting a blank CD, or burn files to disc, write a DVD data disc using Windows Media Player and DVD video disc using Windows DVD Maker when inserting a blank DVD. There is no way to burn an optical CD or DVD disk image directly, such as an .ISO image file, a major inconvenience leftover from Windows XP era.

Download BurnCDCC from TeraBytes Unlimited. As there is no setup routine to create a shortcut for you, you will need to place BurnCDCC.exe manually to a folder yourself, then create a shortcut from Desktop or Start Menu for ease of access.

Another free alternative for burning ISO image in Windows XP and Vista is ISO Recorder.
