Virus Spread via MSN
There is a virus file called “photo album.zip” that is spreading widely via MSN messenger now. This file is a variant of Backdoor.Win32.IRCBot. This virus will automatically send out some erotic and seductive messages attached with the photo.zip file ‘(about 18,944 bytes) to receivers in the contact list.
Don’t simply open accept any suspected photo.zip files if you receive messages such as: “My friend took nice photos of me”; “You Should see em loL”; “check out my sexy books”; “HEY lol i’ve done a new photo album”; “Hey just finished new photo album! might be a few nudes lol…” The text message is different every time, so be careful.

Ok, the fix for this is REASONABLY simple if you know anything about using pc’s
Here goes
First, press Alt + ctrl + del, open task manager, click the “processes” tab, find a program that shouldnt be running (if you dont know what should/shouldnt be running there are sites that can tell you)
Now, that will stop the virus BUT not get rid of it.
Next, click start, then “Run” (windows xp, dont know about vista)
type “msconfig” (without the ” of course) and click OK
Click the “StartUp” tab
Again, scroll through the list of ticked files and untick any that should not be running at start up (again, this is some randomly named file like agedjgs.exe that will be in the System32 directory)
Next click the “Services” tab, sort this list by Manufacturer (click the word manufacturer on the top bar in the middle)
Scroll through this list and find a file that has either no manufacturer or a fake one (hopefully u know what you have installed on your pc)
Now, go to the file that you unticked in the startup tab (c:/windows/system32 or where ever) and delete the file, then reboot and it will be fixed
IF you do stuff up anywhere along the way, reboot into safe mode (this stops that msconfig batch from running) then you can reset it up.
I know all this seems complicated, but with a bit of research and time, this is a good way to get rid of almost any virus ESPECIALLY this one

It’s 1kb. I think the PC literate people will know that most images can’t be compressed to 1kb. Think, it’s a whole album down to 1kb…
