anyone know how to uninstall this now having tried the fix as it is now saying that there is a file missing. I want to try and delete all registration data and program files and then try reinstall

Word + excel working
over 60 days ago I installed the student version – then upgraded the trial to small business so had both on my system.
It seems my student trial is working (can use word/excel) however the SMall Business Trial is not – so cant use outlook and publisher.
Have checked all the original changes and they stand the same – have also tried deleting the OPA12.dat file – but it just reappears as soon as I try to open an office program.

this also worked for me – but only for 4 days! Today programs open with no activation prompt BUT I cant use them. Anyone have a new fix for this? I’m guessing microsoft is playing catchup with the cracks. thanks.

I was able to uninstall after it locked up.
I have followed these steps, it worked fine for one day and locked up.
I have reversed the change in Proof.XML in the following folder on XP.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en
Need to change neverInstalled to AlwaysInstalled. make sure you use Upper case A.
Then you should be able to uninstall it from AControl Panel->Add or Remove Programs

Thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering, i want to hack the 30 trial version of an opera 3. I know its an old version, but i had interest in it. I installed it from a pc magazine cd. Is there a way to also hack it like the microsoft office?
